Police seize over 1,000 rounds of ammunition in St Mary, no arrest made
KINGSTON, Jamaica – Over 1,000 rounds of ammunition was found in an abandoned building in Devon Pen, St Mary during a police operation in the community Thursday.
Police reports are that between 7:50 am and 12:00pm, lawmen were conducting an operation in the Devon Pen community of Castleton, during which they searched an abandoned four- bedroom concrete house.
During the search, they reportedly found in one of the rooms two black shopping bags and one brown bag containing the ammunition.
No one was arrested. Investigation continues.
