Policeman electrocuted in Spanish Town

ST CATHERINE, Jamaica — A police sergeant was electrocuted in the Eltham Acres section of Spanish Town, St Catherine a short while ago.

It is understood that the cop was electrocuted while trimming a tree at his home. The tree is reportedly near a high tension wire.

Firefighters have been alerted and are making their way to the scene.
