Dubbing his recent London tour a huge success, the Miss Pretty deejay is boasting new connections as well as a widened fan base as he gears up to make even more headway in the industry.
“I think as an artiste it is very important to broaden your horizons and expand your fan base. Dancehall is a global brand and so we have to represent the country and the culture worldwide. I know I have a lot of fans in the UK market who wanted to see and hear me live, and I’m just happy I got the chance to connect with them,” said Bayka.
Outlining that he also got the opportunity to do a press tour during his UK run, the entertainer said he’s grateful for every moment he’s given to showcase who he is.
“To be honest, I’m very grateful for the support here in the UK. The trip has been nothing but amazing. I was glad to see the fans, but I was also very excited that I got to connect with media personalities and some genuine people like Leon Bailey, Skillibeng, Nicolas Jackson, M1llionz & viral family, Charmaineandtheweddz,” he continued. “I got to link with SeaniB on
BBC 1Xtra, Kiss FM, and RoboRanx, and a some icons that in the UK media. Overall it was a great first showing and I am looking forward to coming back to do even bigger things and represent my brand even more.”
Making several key stops, Bayka’s team says the artiste received overwhelming support and appreciation for his music from disc jocks and fans alike. They shared that the recent trip saw the artiste being featured by popular UK content creators as well as online news outlets as they expressed their love for his music.
On March 8 as part of award-winning Team Spice, Bayka performed for over 10,000 at the UK leg of the Red Bull Culture Clash. However, it was his performance at the Islington that cemented his place as one to watch among dancehall’s fresh talent. According to the artiste’s team, Bayka “captivated the eager gaze of the London crowd at the O2 hosted by LIVE Nation UK and Metropolis Music on March 16” and delivered an energetic set that undoubtedly helped him to make his mark in the market. Performing tracks such as Siddung, 1Uptown, and More & More, Bayka, who rose to prominence in 2022, showed that he is on his way to becoming a dancehall mainstay.
As his reach grows, so too does the rise in his music on top-rating charts. Currently #2 on Apple Music, his latest track,
