#Champs2025: Hydel’s Bernard leads girls’ Class 2 high jump
KINGSTON, Jamaica — Hydel High’s Zavien Bernard leads the qualifiers in the girls’ Class Two high jump set for Saturday’s final session of the 115th ISSA/GraceKennedy Boys’ and Girls’ Athletics Championships at the National Stadium.
In Thursday’s qualification, Bernard, who set the Class Three record last year, was the only athlete to clear 1.65m.
Four athletes — Alexia Williams of St Jago High, Mikayla Longmore of Holmwood Technical, Malia Housen of Mt Alvernia and Kijonna Lee of Vere Technical all cleared 1.60m.
