The way it's gonna work is that you can send me a PM with a verification picture. The picture has to contain you and forum name on piece of paper or on your body and your username or my username instead of the website name, if you prefer that.

Okay... this is the weirdest thread, but only so because of the rabid leftfucks.

Yes, I agree, the way Trump parsed the sentence he used was awkward - kind of like that old Grouch Marx joke "Last night I shot an elephant in my pajamas. How he got in my pajamas, I'll never know" - just ambiguous syntax. But it was clearly intended to convince Christians, who historically under-vote in numbers, to get out and vote for him, and they wouldn't need to bother with it again.

OH! But it opened the floodgates for the Screaming Mimis on the left to start yelling "SEE? He said there will be no elections if he gets in!!!

    DICTATOR! DICTATOR! DICTATOR!
    AAAAAAUUUUUUGGGGHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Get over yourselves, you lying fucks.

For an arrogant foreigner so wrapped up in American politics and so fervently opposed to violence, it is curious that darkride spends so much time parsing every word Trump utters (using of course the left media for his guide) but totally ignores biden's/harris's daily calls for violence.

Biden's 'dead on arrival' jab at Speaker Johnson bewilders social media users: 'What does that even mean?' (msn.com)
Biden's 'dead on arrival' jab at Speaker Johnson bewilders social media users: 'What does that even mean?'
    Story by Lindsay Kornick
    • 16h

President Biden’s response to House Speaker Mike Johnson’s pushback against his radical changes to the Supreme Court baffled social media users Monday.

Biden penned a Washington Post op-ed on Monday, calling on Congress to impose term limits and a code of conduct on the Supreme Court while also drafting limits on presidential immunity.

Johnson was quoted as saying Biden’s proposal was "dead on arrival" in Congress. When asked about it, Biden turned the comment back on the speaker.

"That’s what he is," Biden said in a video posted by Washington Post reporter Matt Viser.

When pressed for clarification, Biden added, "He is. Dead on arrival."

Biden reiterated this comment during his prepared remarks on his op-ed at the LBJ Presidential Library, in commemoration of the 60th anniversary of the Civil Rights Act.

"The Republican Speaker of the House says whatever he proposes is dead on arrival," Biden said. "Well, I was thinking his thinking is dead on arrival!"

Biden’s comments were considered bizarre and slightly hypocritical by X users.

"’Put Trump in a bullseye’ has pivoted to the faux POTUS saying House Speaker Johnson is ‘dead on arrival.’ But JD Vance is weird. Or something," Fox News contributor Joe Concha remarked.

RedState writer Bonchie wrote, "Imagine if Donald Trump said Kamala Harris was ‘dead on arrival’ and then said the same thing when pressed for clarification. Jake Tapper would be hyperventilating right now."

Conservative commentator Steve Guest said it sounded like Biden was threatening the Speaker.

The Federalist senior legal correspondent Margot Cleveland commented, "Our Commander-in-Chief just threatened to take out the Speaker of the House."

"Yeah, this guy definitely thought up and wrote the op-Ed in today's Washington Post," National Review writer Jeff Blehar joked.

"what does this even mean?" Sen. Josh Hawley's press secretary Abigail Marone asked.

Targeted Victory vice president Matt Gorman noted, "Only one of them will have a job next year and it ain’t Biden…"

Johnson himself responded to the video on X, posting a video of former President Trump during his debate with Biden.

"I really don’t know what he said at the end of that sentence. I don’t think he knows what he said either," Trump said.

Biden’s proposal to "reform" the Supreme Court and limit presidential immunity has been seen as a highly improbable plan within a heavily divided Congress.

Well words matter when you run for president and he knows this. Whether it’s queuing up the proud boys during the debates or telling a horde to march on the Capitol he is the master of the dog whistle. There are members of the right claiming they will start a civil war if Trump loses. So it’s totally fair game to ridicule a man for what he says and this was inherently saying votes won’t matter in 2028. He deserves scrutiny from both sides of the aisle.

But he didn’t say that. He said, things would be so good under him, they wouldn’t “have to vote again.” And you forget the, “ demonstrate peacefully and patriotically.” This is exactly what the leftists and propagandists do. It’s truly horrendous! They are Baghdad Bob!

Trump said he/they would fix it so good, that they (voters) would not have to vote again. That's what he said, several different ways.

And as far as Trump telling people to demonstrate peacefully? Have you listened to him talking? Have you followed his social media feed? He is not a peaceful man. He waited HOURS before taking any action to try to stop the Jan 6 insurrection.

Propaganda is the tool of fascists, and Trump has you believing his every lying word, and polluted your brain with the idea that any other news source is "fake news". How can every body else be wrong, and Trump be right?

Propaganda is indeed the tool of fascists.

Starting with the Steele Dossier thingy
    And lately, project 2025.

Proof that liberals have no limit, no morals, no ethics when it comes to getting trump.

So, what you're now trying to make people believe is the Steele dossier was accurate, and project 2025 really is Trumps agenda laid out?

That's a special level of stupid right there.

Unless you have the Trump Pee tape that is.

You've already tried to sell us one faked video that was supposed to prove that Trump is all in on project 2025, but now that we all know it's a fake, why don't you double down and come up with a pee tape.
You can do that for us, can't you?

Since Trump's first time, I considered him as dangerous as Adolf Hitler, and could see him playing some of Hitler's play-book. I wasn't surprised when I looked around and sure enough - plenty of other people were seeing the same foreshadowing.

Trump has repeatedly denied ever having read Mein Kampf - Hitler's own autobiography of how he came to hate Jews, and his ideology for the future of Germany.

Despite this claim, Trump has used phrases that mirror Adolf Hitler's own language.

Well - now we know the truth.

Trump may indeed have never read Mein Kampf, but back in 1990 Ivana Trump said that Trump had a book of Adolf's speeches on his bedside table!

Here I was thinking that Putin was Trump's idol. How stupid was I.

    Trump's idol is Adolf Hitler.

Oh look, Trumps great friends at Fox News thought they had better let Trump explain himself when he spoke to his Christian friends about not having to vote again! Isn't it good that they let him clear up what he meant when he said 3 times that they wouldn't need to vote again!

Except he DID NOT EXPLAIN HIMSELF!

    "

Now isn't that interesting. She gave him MULTIPLE chances to try to clarify himself... and still he didn't say anything about future elections. He didn't say he wouldn't seek to end elections. He didn't say it was all a mistake. He said fuck all.

    Happy Dictatorship, America.

How incredibly arrogant and ignorant dark is getting. Anytime he can find something negative to say about Trump, or conservatives, or deplorables, he posts it in the forum for us all to admire. You know, to show his smart. The only problem is, he keeps showing his stupid.

    OI! @darkride !
Did you happen to do any fact checking before you decided to repeat this discredited bit of bullshit?
We know you didn't fact check your Heritage Foundation video, or the other propaganda you posted, but surely you must have at least thought about checking this latest bullshit!
No, no you didn't, did you?
When it comes to trump you show your hate just like every liberal in America. Facts don't matter, accuracy is to be assumed but never, ever checked. The point is to skewer Trump and any who support him.
And that is hate right up there with hating minorities.
    Shameful.

Fact Check: There Is No Evidence Trump Ever Read 'Mein Kampf' (yahoo.com)

“Did your cousin John give you the Hitler speeches?” I asked Trump.

Trump hesitated. “Who told you that?”

    “I don’t remember,” I said.

“Actually, it was my friend Marty Davis from Paramount who gave me a copy of Mein Kampf, and he’s a Jew.” (“I did give him a book about Hitler,” Marty Davis said. “But it was My New Order, Hitler’s speeches, not Mein Kampf. I thought he would find it interesting. I am his friend, but I’m not Jewish.”)

Later, Trump returned to this subject. “If I had these speeches, and I am not saying that I do, I would never read them.”

To recap, Trump's then-wife Ivana (from whom he was separated) allegedly told her lawyer Trump owned a book of Hitler's speeches and read from it occasionally; Trump claimed he was given a copy of "Mein Kampf" by a Jewish friend (who, in fact, was not Jewish and said the book was "My New Order"); then Trump refused to acknowledge whether he owned the book, and said if he did, he would never read it.

In a subsequent television interview with Barbara Walters, Trump did acknowledge receiving a copy of "My New Order," though he appeared to bristle at the implication he admired Hitler's speeches:

WALTERS: In the current issue of Vanity Fair, the author, Marie Brenner, says that you read from Hitler's collected speeches, My New Order, and that these are speeches that you seem to admire. What's your reaction? Do you have this book? Do you have these speeches?

TRUMP: It is the most ridiculous thing I've ever heard. A friend of mine sent me a book. A man who I think is Jewish, although I don't know, sent me a book. It happened to be that book. All of a sudden Marie Brenner somehow found out that he had sent me a book. It is the most ridiculous thing I've seen, and I'm probably going to sue Vanity Fair over it.

Trump later called the Vanity Fair article "one of the worst ever written about me." In an infamous coda to the episode, Trump walked up behind Brenner at a public event and poured a glass of wine down her back (an incident both Trump and Brenner acknowledged happening).

As the evidence stands, no strong case exists for the claim that Trump read or admired Hitler's "Mein Kampf." A viral quote attributed to him in which he supposedly lauded "Mein Kampf" and its author was clearly fabricated. It appears, on the other hand, that Trump did (and perhaps still does) own a collection of Hitler's speeches that a friend presented to him as a gift. According to Vanity Fair, Ivana Trump told her lawyer that her husband kept the book near his bedside and occasionally read from it. Also according to Vanity Fair, however, Trump insisted he had never read it, nor would he.

In a 2016 column for The New York Times, Maureen Dowd reported Trump's responses to questions she asked about both books. "I wondered about ex-wife Ivana telling her lawyer, according to Vanity Fair, that Trump kept a book of Hitler’s speeches by his bed," Dowd wrote. "Or the talk in New York that in the ’90s he was reading 'Mein Kampf'. Nein, he said. 'I never had the book,' he said. 'I never read the book. I don’t care about the book.'"

It's unclear exactly which book he was referring to, though the context suggests it was "Mein Kampf."

Questions about what he read or didn't read aside, we have yet to stumble upon a verifiable instance of Trump expressing respect or admiration for Adolf Hitler. What we did find is that people (including some close to him) have been insinuating that Trump has an affinity for Hitler for the better part of 30 years, which is interesting in and of itself.

Lastly, in December 2023, during a campaign rally for his 2024 presidential reelection bid, Trump reiterated that he had never read "Mein Kampf." He mentioned it after repeating one of the most controversial statements about undocumented immigrants he has ever made: "They are destroying the blood of our country."

In an off-the-cuff digression, he continued, "They don't like it when I said that. I never read Mein Kampf. They said, 'Oh, Hitler said that.' In a much different way."

    1. darkride
And you are too blind to read between the lines of every bit of Trump's reactions to all of the above.

      Blind, blind, blind...

You do understand that the only other realistic candidate for president in the United States in 2024 did not have a single primary vote cast for her for president, and now she's the only choice offered up by liberals.
Not a single vote for her. Not one. But now she's the only liberal candidate.

Here's a nice down to earth guy talking about Trump's very clear message that "you wont have to vote any more".

The message that seems to keep coming up on this topic is - Why are people having to continually explain "What Trump meant was..." "Oh no, Trump didn't mean what he said..."

As a commentator on the video said - You can vote a dictator in to power; you can't vote them out.

Trump is telling the American people exactly what his plans are, with his own words.

Make no mistake. This man does not want to help you, he wants to rule over you until he dies.

Did you know they have even studied what dark suffers from?
Why Misinformation Is Appealing | Psychology Today

Recent research we conducted (Susmann & Wegener) suggests that people’s desire for causal understanding can lead them to resist corrections of misinformation. When misinformation that provides causal understanding is corrected, people perceive it as a threat to their understanding of the event. Because people want to understand, this is an unpleasant experience. As such, people feel motivated to maintain causal understanding. The simplest way to do this is to disregard the correction and continue believing the misinformation.

A simpler way to express this is to say that the more misinformed someone is, the more passionate they are about their belief.
