WATCH: Warmington tells PJ to ‘back off’
MANCHESTER, Jamaica — Controversial St Catherine South Western Member of Parliament Everald Warmington has blasted former Prime Minister and People’s National Party’s (PNP) President PJ Patterson for recent comments made by the latter against the stewardship of the Andrew Holness-led administration.
“It reach the stage now where the PNP have to go find a man who [is] retired in the hospice and nursing home. PNP did call on Patterson, go take him out of nursing home and the hospice to speak for them. Them done. They have nothing to offer,” Warmington said on Sunday at the Manchester Central worker’s appreciation service.
He told his audience, consisting of Jamaica Labour Party (JLP) supporters, that he will continue to defend Holness.
“What the hell Patterson can tell Jamaica? Attack Andrew Michael Holness, no, no, no, go back a your nursing home. We have a young vibrant man from Spanish Town. Born yah so. Walk barefoot… and raise up to lead this country. Look yah PJ back off. Go back a hospice and nursing home…” said Warmington.
At times Warmington used abbreviated expletives in voicing his criticism of the Opposition. He cited the reduced crime statistics and took a swipe at the PNP.
“They have no f’ing talk no more. The violence is down.”
