Saturday deadline to apply for 2025 Scotia Vision Achiever programme
SCOTIABANK has started the intake of applications from businesses interested in participating in its annual business development programme — Scotia Vision Achiever. The programme, now in its 14th year, continues its tradition of excellence in building the capacity of Jamaican businesses, under the expert guidance of ActionCOACH Marcia Woon Choy.
Interested business operators have until Saturday to apply online.
Since inception, the Scotia Vision Achiever programme has made significant contributions to the growth and development of local businesses.
With an investment of more than $100 million the programme has supported some 350 businesses across the island, equipping them with the essential skills and knowledge required to thrive in today’s competitive marketplace.
The programme is structured around seven comprehensive modules, delivered over 17 weeks. These modules cover a wide range of critical topics, including sales training, systemising business processes, effective marketing strategies, and understanding business financials.
Participants in the programme will not only gain invaluable insight and skills, but can also win cash and other prizes, further incentivising their growth and development.
Originally designed to benefit Scotiabank customers, the programme has expanded to include non-Scotiabank customers. This expansion is part of Scotiabank’s ongoing commitment to foster the growth of small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in Jamaica.
“The Scotiabank Vision Achiever programme has gained popularity because of its focus on building the capacity of participants under the mentorship of ActionCOACH Marcia Woon Choy. Participants are challenged to think differently about entrepreneurship. They learn how to build, design, and sustain successful businesses by implementing systems that make their companies attractive to customers and viable for owners,” said Kaysia Johnson Vaughan, director small business client experience, Scotiabank.
Since 2011 Scotiabank has partnered with ActionCOACH to deliver this impactful programme. The collaboration has yielded remarkable results, with numerous success stories emerging from past participants who have gone on to make significant achievements in their business journey.
“We’re looking forward to a great programme this year; we’ll also do a big drive, focusing on digital, enabling our clients and looking at partners with whom we can work to provide the right tools to help SMEs,” added Johnson Vaughan.
Scotiabank has engaged a range of partners who will also provide additional incentives and support.
All eligible businesses are invited to seize this opportunity and apply for the Scotia Vision Achiever programme by Saturday. For more information on how to apply and the benefits of the programme business operators can visit jm.scotiabank.com.
