Five compete for JUNO Reggae Recording of the Year
VANCOUVER, Canada – The nominations in the 2025 JUNO Awards, Canada’s equivalent to the Grammy Awards, have been announced and five projects are nominated in the Reggae Recording of the Year category.
They are Born to be Free by Exco Levi, Fallback by King Cruff and Runkus, Destiny by Lee Scratch Perry and Bob Riddim, Sky’s the Limit by Skystar and Rise by Tonya P.
This is Exco Levi’s 12th nomination, while for Tonya P, this is her second.
Produced by the Canadian Academy of Recording Arts and Sciences, the 54th JUNO Awards will take place on March 29 at the Rogers Arena in Vancouver.
Jamaican-born Toronto-based producer Boi-1da, who has produced an array of hit hip-hop songs, will receive the International Achievement Award.
