Badman Rocks
Dancehall recording artiste Trueace is in celebration mode following the tremendous feedback that he has been receiving for his song Badman Rock.
Lifted from his debut EP, aptly titled Grandeza, the entire project was released on October 18, 2024, with production credits going to Aktive Record.
“The song has really taken off, especially on social media. Dancers from around the world are doing the
Badman Rock and just having a great time while doing it,” Trueace told the Jamaica Observer’s Splash.
The EP features six tracks, with other songs such as Better Days, Control, Sinner, Chosen, and Surgical.
Since its release, the project has been a huge stepping stone, giving new and old fans an opportunity to experience the artiste’s unique musical style.
“With this EP, my hope is to extend my music out there, reach people across the world and show them what I have to offer. This EP is very dear to me; it’s about my journey, my struggles, barriers, and growth overall. I want listeners to get a feel of my experiences, and I gave it the name because I think I really did some good work,” the artiste explained.
Putting in the work to build his career, Trueace has been doing music since 2019, releasing his debut single
My Mama that same year. Since then, he has been growing his audience and discography with other singles including Winning, Nine X, Doe Dweet, Life Style, and Ratings featuring J Stvrr and Rani Rastaciti.
With the EP making its splash on the airwaves, Trueace is continuing to make music moves, working on new material to be released over the next few months.
