Curfew imposed in sections of St Andrew Central police division
KINGSTON, Jamaica – A 48-hour curfew has been imposed in sections of the St Andrew Central Police Division. The curfew which began at 6:00 pm on Thursday, January 16, will remain in effect until 6:00 pm, on Saturday, January 18.
The areas for the curfew are as follows:
North: Along an imaginary line from Kingston East border to the mountainside in Gordon Town;
South: Along an imaginary line from Pandora Crescent in the vicinity of Bay of Farm Road to Mountain View Primary;
East: Along an imaginary line from Mountain View Primary to Kingston East border, and
West: Along an imaginary line from Bay Farm Road to the mountainside in Gordon Town. During the hours of the curfew, all individuals within its boundaries are required to remain within their premises, unless otherwise authorised by the ground commander.
